Order Glasses Online

Many people won't order glasses online because they fear that when their eyeglasses come in the mail, they will not be satisfied. Of course, there is a risk to ordering anything online, let alone glasses. However, there are a few simple things that we can do to ensure that when our glasses are delivered to our home, we will be happy with them.

The first key thing to be aware of when you order glasses online is to know what type of lenses you are ordering. Most online optical retailers will give you plastic lenses by default. Some however, will also offer Polycarbonate at the same price or for very little extra. Polycarbonate is in my opinion the better choice. It is far more durable, and it's much lighter in weight. More and more people who order glasses online are starting to prefer Polycarbonate every day.

Another thing you want to pay attention to when you order eyeglasses from online retailers is what type of frame you are buying. Sometimes it is easy to get confused while looking at pictures on the internet of a pair of glasses, but you want to make sure that you know if your frames are plastic, metal, rimless, semi rimless, etc. Always try to see pictures of those particular frames on a person. Most places where you can order glasses online will have pictures of models wearing their frames. Look at those pictures and try to scale the image to imagine what the frames will look like on you.

One of the most powerful things that you can do when you order glasses online is to leave customer notes. Not many people do this, and they should. Online optical retailers deal with hundreds, sometimes thousands of order everyday. By leaving customer notes in your order, you can specify if you would like something done a particular way, or leave comments about how you would like your nose pads fitted.

By following these 3 simple steps, you can almost guarantee yourself satisfaction when you buy eyeglasses from online optical retailers. You should always read reviews about particular websites before you buy from them. Top Edge Window Tinting

I recently needed to get my car windows tinted for my new 2009 Honda Civic. I ended up choosing to use Top Edge Window Tinting NYC & Long Island. I have had bad experiences with window tinting companies in the past. For my first car, the tint shop I used accidentally put green window film on my car instead of the dark gray I had requested. The bad part was that they refused to re-do it at no cost! I could not believe that they were just going to jerk me around like that. Long story short, I worked it out.

This time around I was going to be more cautious. After doing some research on window tinting shops in the Long Island and NYC area, I found Top Edge Window Tinting. I read some great reviews of theirs, and decided to go down there and see what the had to offer. The owner, Jeff Tabachnick, was a very nice guy. It was easy for me to see right away that the people who were working at this place really cared about doing a good job. Not to mention that every car I saw coming out of there looked great.

Although I was only interested in getting car tinting, I learned that they also provide residential and commercial window tinting. I thought that was cool, because I never knew that some people actually tinted their home windows. But apparently they do! The guys at Top Edge had told me all about the different types of tint that I could use on my car, and gave me advice on which type would look best and offer more sun protection. When all was said and done, I was very happy with the job they did. I have since told all of my friends to go there whenever they need a tint job. Aside from providing a great service, it's nice to also offer business to people who strive to make you happy. If you are in the tri-state area, I would absolutely recommend using Top Edge for any tinting needs you might have. Visit them on the web at http://www.topedgetinting.com - You will definitely leave satisfied.

Long Island Tinting

If you live on Long Island and you are looking to get some window tinting done, check this out (the best tinting Long Island has) Long Island Tinting

Many people make the same mistake I did when I first got my car windows tinted. That is that they don't specify what TYPE of tint they want. Yes, they specify what shade, but not what type. When I went to a local Long Island tinting service for the first time, I told them what I wanted and they said "Ok, we'll see you later today". Little did I know that they were tinting my windows with green tint... not gray like I had anticipated. When I asked why it was green, they said that they used high-performance window tint because people had been complaining about the regular tint peeling off on the top of the windows. I told them that I didn't want high-performance tint, but because I didn't specify, and because it was technically an upgrade and not a downgrade, I had to keep it or pay an extra fee for tint removal. Here on Long Island people are always in a hurry, just like most other New York towns, so when I tried to talk further with the guy and tell him that I want it redone, he got caught up in something else and I just left miserable.

Anyway, the point of the story is that you always have to specify what type, shade and color of tint you want. If only I was having my house on Long Island tinted I would have had a heart attack after seeing that it was the wrong color.
